“If most people took 10% of the time they spent gossiping about things that will never affect them and applied it to improving their situation, they would solve all of their problems in short order.”
“I’m a Nietzschean when it comes to love. I think most people just don’t have it in them to experience profound or nuanced emotions, or to bear responsibilities or endure suffering. Whatever they experience isn’t love in any serious sense. It doesn’t deserve the name.”
“Any belief in an immortal soul and an eternal afterlife determined by the judgement of an invisible god distorts every action of the believer. It is literally insane. Religion is a form of mass insanity, so pervasive that it is more expedient for the state to cater to it and exploit it than it is to remedy it, so it’s not going away anytime soon. The best you can hope for is to curtail its intrusion into your personal life, and into the political and legal structure of society as much as possible. Religion should be undermined by secular influences as much as possible.” - Magister James D. Sass
“Satanism is a Philosophy based upon the reality of carnal existence and living one’s life to its fullest. It rightfully champions mankind as being above his self-created gods and, as such, being totally responsible for his successes and failures. Like the mythological Lucifer’s transformation into the autonomous Satan, man’s penchant for exploration, independence, and drive shouldn’t be caged but, rather, exercised and applauded.” - Magister Matt G. Paradise
“…God is a very Jungian construct. He was created by small men to serve their needs…”
-Anton LaVey, “Satan Speaks”
“Because most people are stupid and believe what they want to believe regardless of facts or reason.
If people were not prone to believe unwarranted idiotic shit there would be no such thing as religion in the world and probably only a small fragment of the consumer economy.”
En Jack Fritscher in zijn boek “Popular Witchcraft: Straight from the Witch’s Mouth (2nd edition)”:
“While such a bibliography of witchcraft, sex and drugs will forever be a growing library, America’s leading Satanist, Anton LaVey, has noted that drugs are escapist and contrary to the realistic values of the Church of Satan because they cloud the ability to exercise choice.”
